AC Milan will need to reinforce the right wing this summer to secure a bigger number of goals and assists.

The right wing is one of the positions AC Milan will to strengthen this summer. At least one new player will arrive in that role with both Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaeker not secure about their permanence for next season. Both can’t provide the necessary number of goals and assists that AC Milan require.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Domenico Berardi is back in fashion at Casa Milan. The Italian winger has spent has entire career playing for Sassuolo. Berardi is liked for his characteristics and the fact that he has reached double figures in goals scored for the last 5 seasons but remains a rather ‘uncomfortable’ target for two reasons. Berardi is not very young (29 years) and the 30 million euros that Sassuolo continues to demand for his purchase are considered excessive.

Next on the list according to Gazzetta are two players from the Premier League. The first is that of Arsenal’s right-footed winger Reiss Nelson. The 23-year-old Englishman is open to leave Arsenal this summer on a free transfer. Nelson has a renewal offer on the bale but he wants to play regular football and an exit is quite likely.

The second name is that of Ismaila Sarr, left-footed winger of Watford. The 25-year-old Senegal international has an contract with Watford until 2024 and therefore can be signed at a favorable price. Sarr ended the season with 10 goals and 6 assists in Championship. He is pushing for a move away after Watford failed to secure Premier League promotion.

Instead, another lead that Maldini followed with particular attention seems not realistic. That is Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze. On paper Chukwueze looked like a perfect fit for AC Milan: young, quick, very technical and left-footed. But it seems that the class of 24-year-old is close to completing a move to the Premier League for a figure of around €30 million.
