The corporate future of AC Milan is yet to be written but Massimiliano Mirabelli is leaving nothing to chance on the transfer market.
So far the club has identified the urgent purchase of a midfielder and, above all, a striker that can guarantee 20 goals per season. It will not be easy but even amid corporate difficulties AC Milan has the capability to sign two top players without selling any of the current stars.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mirabelli is well aware that in order to give Gattuso a competitive squad for next season it will be essential to sign a top striker. Andre Silva and Nikola Kalinic failed to justify the 63 million euros paid for them and both may leave this summer.
On Mirabelli’s notebook there are always the names of Alvaro Morata, Timo Werner, Radamel Falcao and above all Ciro Immobile. There is also Zaza as an alternative option, for which the Rossoneri sporting director has already initiated contact with agent Bozzo. As mentioned before Mirabelli continues to work like usual on the market despite the club’s recent troubles.
