Adriano Galliani has called Boban and Maldini to apologize for the comments of his son Gianluca Galliani on the situation of AC Milan.
The strong criticisms of Gianluca Galliani on the current AC Milan management has caused a lot of controversy. A direct attack on Paolo Boban and Zvonimir Maldini, in no uncertain terms.
Through his Linkedin profile, Galliani Jr wrote the following: “Executives with salaries that represents a unicum in the history of world football who always discharge the responsibility on coaches and players without exposing themselves”. A message accompanied with the famous #saveacmilan hashtag, which spread during the time when his father was the CEO of AC Milan.
Adriano Galliani has distanced himself from his son’s words, assuring that he is not the inspiration and not sharing his thoughts. Tuttosport reports that the current CEO of Monza has phoned Paolo Maldini and Zvonimir Boban to clear the air. The Rossoneri leadership appreciated the call and the “case” is considered closed.
“I distance myself from this statements. My son is an adult person, I am certainly not the inspirer of these words of his that do not reflect my thoughts“, declared Adriano Galliani for ANSA yesterday.
Gianluca Galliani is not the first to express criticism about the current management of AC Milan. The social networks are filled with not-so-positive thoughts on the situation of the club. Obviously statements coming from the son of the one who guided the club for 31 years, and who was often at his side at the San Siro stands, make much more noise then the sincere judgments of the ordinary fan.
