The Rossoneri travel to Frosinone in search of points and serenity. Only a win could help AC Milan overcome this difficult period.
Frosinone-Milan, in case of victory the Rossoneri would find pace while any other results would push Gennaro Gattuso closer to sacking and his team far away from the Champions League dream. Against Frosinone, today at 12:30, Suso will not be available. According to Sky Sports, the Rossoneri coach will deploy the team with a 4-3-3 lineup.
A good news comes from the defensive department. Mateo Musacchio has fully recovered and will start from the first minute against Frosinone. The Argentine centre back will partner with captain Alessio Romagnoli while Cristian Zapata takes a rest. Davide Calabria returns as right back after the crazy experiment in midfield on Sunday, obviously the irreplaceable Ricardo Rodriguez on the left.
Franck Kessie and Tiemoue Bakayoko are also available and both will start tomorrow. The two midfielders skipped the match with Fiorentina because of suspension and their absence certainly affected the end result. Hakan Calhanoglu did not excel at the center of the midfield but the injury situation forces Gattuso to confirm the former winger in the same position.
As mentioned earlier Suso has remained at Milanello and will not travel with the team. Samu Castillejo (his first appearances in his natural position) will replace him on the right wing, while on the left Gattuso would be thinking about reviving Patrick Cutrone, a solution already seen several times in the past. The center forward will clearly be Gonzalo Higuaìn, looking for the goal after nearly two months of fasting.
FROSINONE (3-5-2): Sportiello, Goldaniga, Ariaudo, Krajnc, Zampano, Chibsah, Maiello, Cassata, Beghetto, Ciano, Pinamonti.
AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Bakayoko, Calhanoglu; Castillejo, Higuaìn, Cutrone.
