Former Milan star joins new club for ridiculous low fee

Now it’s official former AC Milan star Gerard Deulofeu joins Watford on a permanent basis. The Spanish right winger joined the English club initially on loan and now Watford have completed his purchase from Barcelona for 13 million euros plus bonuses.

Gerard Deulofeu was part of AC Milan for half a season in 2017. The 24 year old played 18 games with the Rossoneri before returning in Spain and was one of AC Milan’s best layers at the time. He was constantly linked with a move back to AC Milan but the club opted for other options instead.

For such a low figure he surely could have been quite useful to coach Gattuso. This season AC Milan suffered a lot from the lack of a quality winger and one like Deulofeu that can play on both flanks should have taken more consideration from the management.
