Fluminense president confirms talks for Milan target
Fluminense 21 year old striker Pedro Guilherme is one of the names AC Milan are considering for the attack this January.
“In any negotiation there must be the will of all parties, the player concerned and the clubs. Only when there is a three-way agreement, the deal is done. Since such thing has not happened yet there is nothing to discuss. Now the transfer market is closed, so Pedro remains here“. With these words the president of Fluminense Pedro Abad confirms that the 21-year-old striker, currently injured, is a much sought-after player in Europe, and beyond.
In fact, Fluminense recently rejected a 20 million euros proposal made by the Mexicans of Monterrey, a destination not appreciated by the player. AC Milan technical director Leonardo is a big fan of Pedro Guilherme and believes that 21 year old is suited to play in Europe already this January according to Calciomercato. Real Madrid, Sevilla and Roma are the other interested clubs.
The centre forward is making a name for himself in Brazil this season. Despite his young age, Pedro has 19 goals in 37 appearances in 2018. The player has a 50 million euros release clause but is expected to move soon for a 25 million fee. AC Milan currently have only two strikers in the squad, a big problem for Gattuso in case one of his forwards suffers an injury.
