AC Milan have offered Fiorentina the opportunity to chose between five players in exchange for midfielder Jordan Veretout.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – Jordan Veretout is among the many targets AC Milan are considering for the midfield. After signing Krunic and Theo Hernandez, the Rossoneri have prioritized purchases in the middle of the park.
AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini, accompanied by Massara, met with Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade. The Rossoneri are interested in the 26-year-old central midfielder and for the first time the parties sat down to discuss a potential transfer.
According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, AC Milan have accepted Fiorentina’s 25 million euros assessment of the French player. However, AC Milan don’t intent to pay his full value in cash and have offer 5 technical counterparts in exchange for Veretout.
Strinic, Diego Laxalt, Biglia, Borini and Cutrone have been offered to Fiorentina. Lucas Biglia is one of Montella’s favorite players, just like Cutrone. The transfer of Cutrone to Fiorentina on loan or on a permanent move could complicate the situation because the Rossoneri don’t want to lose him permanently. The two clubs will resume talks in a few days.
Roma and Napoli are also interested in Jordan but just like Milan they don’t want to pay the entire fee in cash. Pedulla reports that Jordan has prioritized a move to AC Milan. The Red and Blacks and the player have agreed personal terms with Veretout set to earn 2,5 million euros per season at San Siro.
