Feronikeli vs AC Milan, probable lineups
AC Milan face Kosovo champions Feronikeli in Prishtina tonight at 20:45. New signing Rafael Leao make his debut with the Rossoneri.
MILAN NEWS – There is still a lot of work to do for the Rossoneri until the start of the season. And tonight’s friendly match in Kosovo will be important to continue to improve game system and feeling among players on the pitch.
Kosovo champions Feronikeli host AC Milan at 20:45 at the Fadil Vokrri stadium in Prishtina. It will be interesting to see if Marco Giampaolo’s side will confirm the good things seen in the International Champions Cup and finally win the first friendly match under his tenure.
Coach Giampaolo will have to do without the injured Pepe Reina, Caldara and Theo Hernandez, as well as the latest arrivals in Kessie and Duarte. New signing Rafael Leao, who had already flown to Cardiff to follow closely the friendly match with Manchester United, and Lucas Paqueta, who had missed the ICC tournament for the post-Copa America extended holidays, are have just joined the team. Krunic too will make his debut with Milan but his presence from the start is unlikely.
Certainly the Rossoneri coach will insist on 4-3-1-2 as the base formation, the same one used in the first summer friendlies. The four-man defense should be the regular one of the last season, while in midfield awaiting the arrival of Bennacer (he will return tomorrow from holidays) we should see Lucas Paqueta from first minute as inside left in midfield.
Suso in confirmed again in attack in the role of trequartista with Piatek alongside as the undisputed centre forward. There is great expectation among the Rossoneri fans for Rafael Leao, who in training sessions has often been deployed as a second striker, in search of the right feeling with the Polish bomber.
FERONIKELI (4-3-1-2): Smakiqi, Islami, Lladrovci, Prekazi, Hoxha, Dabiqaj, Bojku, Fazliu, Hoti, Crioca, Rexha.
AC MILAN (4-3-1-2): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Calhanoglu, Biglia, Paquetà; Suso, Rafael Leao, Piatek.
