Carlo Ancelotti’s new club Everton are in search of a new centre forward and have turned their attention to AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
With less than two weeks until the end of the January transfer window AC Milan need to speed up and reinforce Pioli’s squad. Despite the continuous movements of Boban and Maldini, talks with several targets have hit stalemate.
The reason is simple, the Rossoneri don’t have the financial means to purchase new players otherwise they risk breaching again the Financial Fair Play. AC Milan need to sell, and quickly, as clubs are reluctant to make transfer business in the very last days of the market.
Lucas Paqueta, Jesus Suso and Krzysztof Piatek are the three players AC Milan have put on the market. Perhaps a helping had can arrive from England with former AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti in search of a new striker.
The Sunday Mirror reports that Everton have joined the race to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek. Ancelotti is looking to bolster his forward line after striker Cenk Tosun was allowed to join Crystal Palace on loan this month.
The Polish centre forward has many suitors in England with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham and Newcastle United also making inquiries. So far AC Milan have rejected every loan offer and will let Piatek leave only on a permanent transfer for a fee of at least €30 million.
