AC Milan are seriously interested in Sandro Tonali and Elliot has given orders to Maldini to close a deal at all costs.
Sandro Tonali is getting closer to AC Milan. The 20-year-old defensive midfielder could be the big signing of the Rossoneri’s summer shopping campaign.
Sportmediaset reports that Elliot has given Paolo Maldini and Fedrerik Massara the green light to buy Tonali. The AC Milan owners want to close the deal quickly, thus beating the competition of city-rivals Inter, even at the cost of increasing the offer presented to Brescia.
The Nerazzurri are currently blocked and have other priorities on the market. Precisely for this reason AC Milan can really complete the signing of the Italian prodigy giving Stefano Pioli an important player to strengthen the midfield. Sandro, who is a big Milan fan, is ushing for a move to the Rossoneri rather than Inter.
The last obstacle seems to be linked to the formula of the transfer. AC Milan are offering €10 million for the loan and € 25 million for the right to buy, which Brescia would like to make mandatory. In the next days the Rossoneri can present an improved bid.
After being named the best player of Serie B, Tonali cemented his status as one of the best Italian players in his first season in Serie A. He made 35 league appearances scoring one goal and providing seven assists.
