Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has accepted a move to AC Milan but the two clubs have yet to agree a transfer fee.
New chapter of the telenovela of the centre back that AC Milan intend to sign in the January transfer window. Manchester United defender Eric Bailly looks to be the frontrunner for the job because he fits the Rossoneri’s requirements for quality and experience.
Bailly has international experience, he’s good in positioning and has an excellent feeling on the pitch with national teammate Franck Kessie. Both players are currently representing the Ivory Coast in the African Cup.
The Rossoneri appreciate the 27-year-old and the defender is very fond of AC Milan. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Eric Bailly has said yes to January transfer to AC Milan. Meanwhile, AC Milan continue to negotiate with Manchester United.
The Premier League side are willing to let Bailly leave on loan. However, Manchester United and AC Milan have yet to reach an agreement on the purchase option in favor of the Rossoneri. There’s still considerable distance on the evaluation both clubs have on the former Villarreal star.
Manchester United spent nearly 40 million euros to sign Bailly from Villarreal in 2016 and would like to recoup an important part of the transfer fee. At the moment Milan don’t seem convinced to spend over 20 million for the 27-year-old who has over 110 appearances with United.
