Donnarumma without a release clause: contacts Raiola-PSG
Donnarumma and AC Milan could part ways at the and of the season. Lack of Champions League football and PSG interest could force the rossoneri to sell Gigio.
That the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma in the Rossoneri jersey is not at all certain, it is not news anymore. Without qualification in next year’s Champions League the 18 year old goalkeeper could leave AC Milan, encouraged by his agent Mino Raiola.
Reporting the latest from the calciomercato Sky Sports reveals an unexpected news. In fact, differently from what has been said in these months, in the new contract of Gigio Donnarumma signed last summer, in fact, there is not inserted any release clause. Since the official communication of July, in which no mention was made of it, several sources had reported that in the agreement there was a release clause of about 70-75 million euros. It would not be so, it seems. Even though an official confirmation by Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli is needed.
Sky Sport also confirms that contacts have restarted between Raiola and Paris Saint Germain. The infamous agent wanted to bring Gigio to PSG already in the past summer, when a very rich contract offer arrived from Paris. However, the boy preferred to stay at AC Milan and therefore the transfer did not take place. At the end of the season everything can change. Money is not a thing the Parisian club lack. The Rossoneri club will evaluate any offers and in a future without Champions League a big player will surely be sold. Real Madrid and Juventus are the two other interested clubs monitoring the situation.
