Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Elliott Management have planned important investments for the summer to strengthen AC Milan squad.
The January transfer window closed a few days ago but in reality the mercato never ends. AC Milan are already at work to improve the squad available to coach Stefano Pioli and do better next season in the Champions League.
The Rossoneri signed only a youngster like Marko Lazetic in January but that is about to change in the summer. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that AC Milan will make important investments at the end of the season.
“I think the Elliott Management fund wants to invest during the summer market and purchase strong players like Sven Botman and Renato Sanches“, said Di Marzio during the broadcast of Sky Calcio – L’originale.
Many Rossoneri fans were left disappointing by what happened in the last transfer window. Juventus signed important names like Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria while Inter snatch Robin Gosens from Atalanta. Top signings that AC Milan refused to respond despite a late attempt for Sanches.
AC Milan have decided to not risk confident that they already have a competitive squad. Instead, as of tradition in recent years, the Rossoneri will make important business only during the summer. Sven Botman is considered the long-term heir of Simon Kjaer while Renato Senches is seen as the perfect replacement for Franck Kessie.
