Di Marzio: AC Milan agree defender sale
AC Milan have reached an agreement for the sale of Mateo Musacchio to Parma but there is one problem reports Di Marzio.
After Andrea Conti, Milan are trying to close another deal with Parma in the next few hours. The two clubs have reached an agreement for the transfer of defender Mateo Musacchio to Parma.
The Argentine has been out of Stefano Pioli’s plans for a long time and has made just one appearances this season. A clear sign that the former Villarreal won’t be considered even for the second half of the season.
The contract of Mateo Musacchio expires in six months and it will be renewed. Nevertheless, Rossoneri would like to offload him prematurely (just like they did before with Borini) for a low transfer fee.
Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that AC Milan and Parma have reached a total agreement for the sale of Musacchio but the player has doubts about whether to accept a move or wait until the end of the season to evaluate other options. His desire would be to return in Spain.
Paolo Maldini and sporting director Marcello Carli are trying to convince Musacchio to accept Parma’s offer. If the Argentine says no then than Parma will try to land Federico Fazio or Daniele Rugani and the former Villarreal will stay at Milan until the end of the season.
