In the upcoming summer transfer window AC Milan will purchase a new left winger and the priorities of Massimiliano Mirabelli are quite clear.

Sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli, as it is now known, is always very busy trying to improve the squad available to Gennaro Gattuso and even if the summer transfer market session is still far away he is already on the move inquiring some ideal names for next season.

One of the roles in which it seems certain that AC Milan must invest next summer is that of a new winger. In the current 4-3-3 formation, in fact, the Rossoneri have only two players suitable for that role, meaning Suso and Calhanoglu (not his natural role), with Borini often deployed on the wing. So another skillful (left) winger is needed, a speedy and goalscorer winger.

According to reports by Tuttosport there are three names recently topping the list. Mirabelli aims, like last year, to conclude the most important negotiations starting from the month of June. The most prestigious name is that of Marco Reus, Borussia Dortmund left winger who would also be ‘sponsored’ by Puma, the new technical sponsor of the Rossoneri. But his often precarious physical and muscular conditions do not seem to convince AC Milan.

Leon Bailey, Jamaican 20 year old of Bayer Leverkusen, recently observed by Mirabelli on his business trips to Germany in the next name on the list. The talented player of the German club, however, has a price tag of at least 50 million euros, too much for the Rossoneri coffers. Finally, the most realistic target for the red and blacks: Memphis Depay, 24 year old Dutch winger of Lyon, tremendous quality and acceleration greater than Suso or Calhanoglu. It would be a tactically perfect reinforcement: around 30 million euros the cost of the operation.
