Lyon are open to complete the sale of Memphis Depay to AC Milan quickly because of their difficult financial situation.
New confirmations on the possible transfer of Memphis Depay to AC Milan. The Rossoneri are serious contenders for the talented Netherlands international who is certain to leave Lyon this summer.
The 26-year-old left winger is an old transfer target of AC Milan but this time it seems he has the backing of Ivan Gazidis, the man in charge of transfers from now on, and is also being endorsed by Ralf Rangnick who loves fast and goal scoring wingers.
It seems like the right time has come for Depay to finally join AC Milan. The former Manchester United player is currently injured having suffered a cruciate ligament rupture and is expected to return in late June.
The contract of Memphis Depay with Lyon expires in one year making the flamboyant left winger one of the most tempting players on the market. Having being left out of European competitions Lyon are forced to make an important sale this summer. Lyon are open to sell Depay for 30 million but due to the recent Coronavirus emergency they could sell him for a much lower fee or else risk losing him for free.
Todofichajes confirms the continuous contacts between AC Milan and Depay. The Spanish news portal also adds that the French club is experiencing a serious financial situation and are open to complete a deal quickly. This season the Lyon star has scored 14 goals in 18 appearances.
