AC Milan have apparently completed their midfield department with the signing on loan of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea.
Tiemoué Bakayoko is the latest player to join AC Milan this summer. After a long a difficult negotiation with Chlesea, technical director Leonardo managed to complete a loan deal with the right to make the move permanent at the end of the season for 35 million euros. But that was not Leonardo’s only exploit.
The 23 year old French midfielder will play for the Rossoneri with a dramatically reduced salary. The Red and Blacks will pay Bakayoko “only” 2,5 million euros for his first season at San Siro while the former Blues player was earning more than 6,5 million at Stamford Bridge reveals Il Corriere della Sera. It is believed that the English side is paying Bakayoko a departing fee of 4 million.
The talented defensive midfielder is hoping to revive his career after a horrendous first season in England. Coach Gattuso strongly believed in the young French and everyone at Milanello is hoping that Bakayoko will repeat his performances at Monaco where he formed a fearsome duo with Liverpool’s new signing Fabinho.
