CorSera: Andre Silva to Monaco, here’s how much cash Milan earn
AC Milan are expected to lose Andre Silva this summer. The Portuguese striker failed to justify his price tag of 38 million euros and could join Monaco next.
For weeks, there has been talks about two clubs as the main candidates to welcome Andre Silva next season. The first is the Wolverhampton, just promoted from Championship to Premier League and with interesting ambitions for the future. The second is Monaco, which for some years is at the top of Ligue 1 and participates regularly in Champions League. The Principality club seems to be the most probable destination of AC Milan’s number 9.
According to reports by Il Corriere della Sera, his agent Jorge Mendes would be pushing Andre Silva towards Monaco. The Monegasque club is ready to pay 32 million euros to buy the young striker. A figure that would allow AC Milan to avoid a capital loss. Confirmations are awaited regarding an official offer but the interest of Monaco is real and serious.
For the moment, the Portuguese ace is focused mainly on the World Cup where he will play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Unlike his performances with the Rossoneri, the 22 year old striker ha been a goal scoring machine with his national team netting 12 times in 21 appearances since his debut in 2016. Only Ronaldo has done better.
