Coppa Italia: Milan-Napoli, probable lineups

AC Milan vs Napoli

AC Milan vs Napoli

AC Milan face Napoli for the second time in three days. The Coppa Italia quarter final will be played tonight at San Siro.

Milan-Napoli, time for the second round. After Saturday night’s 0-0 draw, the Rossoneri and Napoli clash again at San Siro today at 20:30 CET for the quarter-final of the Italian Cup. Whoever loses is out so only a win allows AC Milan to proceed ahead in Coppa Italia.

As usual coach Gennaro Gattuso will use the 4-3-3 lineup. Only one change is expected in defence. Pepe Reina should have started between the posts but he has suffered an injury so it’s up to Gigio to protect the goal. Musacchio and captain Romagnoli in the middle with Ricardo Rodriguez on the left and Abate on the right. Once again Conti must sit on the bench.

No changes even in midfield with Bakayoko and Kessie teaming with Lucas Paqueta. In attack, Rino blindly relies again on Calhanoglu with Samu Castillejo as right winger. Gattuso has decided to rest Suso for this match. New arrival Krzysztof Piatek will lead the department. After the good appearance in the first match, Gattuso will reward the Polish striker with a first minute start tonight.

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Abate, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessie, Bakayoko, Paqueta: Castillejo, Piatek, Calhanoglu.

NAPOLI (4-4-2): Meret; Malcuit, Maksimovic, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; Callejon, Allan, Hamsik, Zielinski; Milik, Insigne.
