AC Milan will make a revamped attempt to sign Domenico Berardi. The Rossoneri will offer €30 million for the Sassuolo winger.
Time is ticking for the Rossoneri to complete the squad before the end of the summer transfer window. One of the positions that Maldini and Massara still have work to do is that of the right winger. Castillejo is destined to leave while the arrival of Hakim Ziyech looks very unlikely.
Considering the reluctance of Chelsea to let Ziyech leave on loan, the Rossoneri have turned their attention again on Domenico Berardi. Calciomercato.it reports that AC Milan will soon make a new bid for the Sassuolo star.
Stefano Pioli needs a new attacking midfielder for his 4-2-3-1 formation. That’s why AC Milan will try offer 5 million euros to sign Domenico Berardi initially on loan with the option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season for another €25 million according to reports.
So far, Sassuolo have insisted that Berardi will not leave unless an offer of €40 million arrives. The 27-year-old old is the top pick of Stefano Pioli for the winger role but AC Milan may need to spend much more in order to acquire his services.
The Sassuolo winger was an important part of the Italian national team that won EURO 2020. In Serie A he was author of another great season scoring 17 goals and assisting 8 in 30 appearances last year.
