CIES: Best out-of-contract players
CIES Football Observatory analyzes the quality of the players who are about to become free agents at the end of the season.
In first place there is the Rossoneri’s new signing Pepe Reina. The Spanish goalkeeper is considered as the best leading the 50 names classification. AC Milan sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli was quick to reach a deal with the 35 year old and he will stay at San Siro for the next three years.
The current Napoli keeper is followed by prestigious names like Vicente Guaita, Arjen Robben, Buffon, Emre Can, Jack Wilshere, Ribery, De Vrij. Former AC Milan defender Daniele Bonera (now at Villarreal) also makes an appearance at 41st place.
