Camarda set to leave Milan and join Serie A rivals
Both Alvaro Morata and Francesco Camarda are set to part ways with AC Milan with exit transfers of the verge of completion.
The defeat against Dinamo Zagreb has caused an earthquake at AC Milan. The Rossoneri lost their chance to qualify directly to the next stage of the Champions League by finishing in the top eight. At the same time, tension has increased within the squad with the management considering the exit of several players in the reaming day of the winter transfer window.
Alvaro Morata is set for a shock transfer to Galatasaray only six months after joining AC Milan. However, Morata will not be the sole Rossoneri centre forward to leave AC Milan. Francesco Camarda will follow in the footsteps of Morata by leavening the club until the end of the season. Francesco Camarda is set to join Monza on loan and return to Milan at the end of the season.
Monza are on the verge of completing the transfer of Daniel Maldini to Atalanta and want Camarda to take his spot. An agreement has already been reached between AC Milan and Monza with the second club set to cover Camarda’s salary for the remaining six months. Monza will be the fourth team of Francesco Camarda this season because the young Italian forward has already played for Milan Primavera, Milan Futuro and AC Milan’s first squad.
Camarda has scored 3 goals so far while playing for Milan Futuro but he has failed to find the back of the net on 10 appearances with the first squad. The exit of both Camarda and Morata means that Luka Jovic will get another chance at Milan. The Serbian has featured for a meager total of 101 minutes until now. Regardless, AC Milan continue to insist for Satiago Gimenez.
The Rossoneri have seen two bids rejected by Feyenoord. The management has authorized the agent of Gimenez to present another offer to Feyenoord worth around 35 million euros. Until now Feyenoord have stood firm on their stance that Santiago Gimenez can leave only in case of a 40 million offer. Personal terms over a long-term contract have already been agreed between Milan and the player.
