Calhanoglu receives €32m proposal form Qatar club
AC Milan attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has received a very rich contract from Qatari club Al Duhail.
In a few days AC Milan will play their last match of the season and ironically it will be the most crucial one. Champions League qualification, or not, will have a great impact on the summer transfer campaign and the renewals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Turkish attacking midfielder has played a key role for AC Milan this season despite some obvious fluctuations. The Rossoneri would like to tie him down to a new contract but negotiations with his agent have been unsuccessful due to his high economic demands.
Calhanoglu pretends a long-term contract of at least 5-5.5 million euros per season while the Rossoneri are not willing to go beyond 4 million (bonuses included). The situation between the two parties became tense after his agent Gordon Stipic offered Calhanoglu to both Inter and Juventus on a free transfer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that Hakan Calhanoglu has received a very rich proposal from Al Duhail. The Qatar club has offered the 27-year-old a three-year contract of 32 million euros until 2024. A sensational proposal that would make Hakan one of the highest paid players in the world but his desire is to stay in Europe reports Romano.
Hakan has scored 9 goals and assisted 12 in 42 appearances this season. His good form, an favorable contract situation, has attracted the attention of many interested clubs. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri remain hopeful that their midfielder will stay at the San Siro.
