Brahim Diaz joined AC Milan from Real Madrid on dry loan. The Spanish playmaker could extend his stay with the Rossoneri but under certain conditions.
Brahim Diaz was quiet in the last match with Fiorentina (he didn’t play in his natural position) but overall he has done really well since joining AC Milan in the summer. The Spanish attacking midfielder has always been useful every time coach Stefano Pioli has played him offering quality performances, providing assists and goals.
The 21-year-old has arrived on dry loan from Real Madrid but the Rossoneri would like to extend his stay. The two clubs are back at the negotiation table even though finding a solution will not be easy. Zidane believes in Brahim Diaz but in the end the will of the talented midfielder will be decisive.
Rossoneri sporting director Frederic Massara confirmed the intention of the club. “Brahim is doing very well. We are convinced that he can give a lot. We will sit down with Real Madrid and see how to move forward. We are very satisfied with him“.
According to reports from Defensa Central, Brahim Diaz is aware that his play time at Real will be very limited. The player would be happy to return to base but at the same time he would like to play more. That’s why his main condition to stay at AC Milan is that the club guarantees him important minutes on the pitch.
Personal terms are not a problem. The former Manchester City earns around 2.5 million per season from his contract with Real Madrid and the Rossoneri will not have a problem offering the same terms on a five-year deal. Los Blancos are looking to trim their wage bill so a transfer figure of 25 million could be enough to sign Diaz on a permanent deal. Renewing the loan for another year is also an option.
