The chances for Ismael Bennacer’s contract renewal have been reduced with the player set to join Raiola’s client list.

Without a doubt, 2022 has been the year of Ismael Bennacer. After a considerable period of ups and downs, the 24-year-old Algerian central midfielder has been in the form of his life playing a key role in the Scudetto triumph, as well as this season alongside Sandro Tonali.

Nevertheless, there is one big problem with Bennacer. His contract with AC Milan expires in 18 months and no renewal agreement has been reached so far. While the Rossoneri hoped to close everything around the New Year it looks like the situation just got worse for Maldini and Massara.

According to reports from Algeria, Bennacer has fired his agent Moussa Sissoko. Furthermore, Bennacer is set to join the newly founded player agency of Enzo Raiola. The cousin of Mino Raiola is set to part ways with lawyer Rafaela Pimenta who inherited the majority of Mino Raiola’s clients.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has also decided to follow Enzo Raiola rather than Pimenta. The appointment of a new agent will force AC Milan to start renewal talks all over and this time with someone who hasn’t been favorable to the Rossoneri club in the past. The recent change has been interpreted a move to leave Milan at the end of the season.

The report claims that Ismael Bennacer could return to the England at the end of the season with three Premier League clubs interested in his services. The Algeria international has a 50 million release clause but, with just one year remaining in his contract, the Italian champions could be forced to sell him for a lower fee. A typical Raiola move.
