AC Milan and Theo Hernandez could part ways this summer with Bayern Munich seriously interested in the French left back.
The end of the season is approaching and AC Milan need to make some important choices. Olivier Giroud is destined to leave the club at the end of the season and start a new adventure in USA with Los Angeles FC. The veteran French striker has agreed an 18-months contract. The future of the two other French stars, Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan, is also shrouded in mystery.
Both players have contracts that expire in two years. Although no significant progress has been made AC Milan are negotiating the contract renewal of Mike Maignan. However, the situation is completely quiet for Theo Hernandez. No renewal talks have been held and there is a real risk that the 26-year-old French left back may bid farewell to the Rossoneri during the summer.
Bayern Munich are seriously interested in his services and are ready to break the bank to sign Theo Hernandez from AC Milan according to Bild. The German giants are on the market for a new left back to replace Alphonso Davies. Davis seems destined to join Real Madrid this summer despite a renewal offer from Munich.
There have already been contacts between Bayern Munich and the camp of Theo Hernandez. The German clubs has informed his agent that Theo Hernandez is their top pick to replace Davies. Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to double Theo’s current wages to €8-10 million per season. At Bayern, Theo would also playing in the same club that his brother Lucas spent four years.
Nevertheless, AC Milan will not let Theo Hernandez leave easily. While the Rossoneri are willing to listen to offers for their goal scoring defender, only an important bid of at least €80 million could convince AC Milan to part ways with Hernandez. Once again, Theo is having another great season on a personal level. The French defender has scored 5 goals and provided 10 assists until now.
