Barcelona central midfielder Denis Suarez is AC Milan’s main transfer objective for January reports Carlo Pellegatti.
Carlo Pellegatti, through his YouTube channel, reports the latest transfer news on AC Milan: “There is a player that Gattuso really likes and could arrive in January. He is Spanish, he was born in 1994, he is 24 years old, 1.80 high and is called Denis Suarez Fernandes. Denis Suarez is a product of Celta Vigo’s youth ranks, at the age of 17 he transfers to Manchester City where he debuts in the League Cup. In 2012 he was named the best youngster in the English championship and one year later he joins Barcelona but remains in the B squad where he provides twelve assists and scores seven goals in thirty-six games.
Sevilla include him in the Rakitic deal but only on loan, at Sevilla he wins the Europa League. Again at the end of the season he changes squad by moving to Villarreal for four million euros but Barcelona in 2016 exercises their buy-back clause. Denis Suarez is an ideal player for for the 4-3-3 lineup, he can play as winger in the attacking trio, is fast in dribbling, has a great game vision, is very good at providing assists for his teammates but can also act as playmaker or central midfielder.
He is an agile player in his movements and resembles both Suso and Castillejo but playing as attacking midfielder he could be a further reinforcement for the Rossoneri’s two departments. Denis Suarez wants to leave Barcelona, closed after the arrival of Arthur and Coutinho. AC Milan are monitoring the situation with great interest. The 24 year old is the first concrete name for January, Leando Paredes of Zenit is reportedly a target but these are just rumors. Instead, the interest for Denis Suarez is very concrete”.
