Barcelona have decided to sell Brazilian right back Emerson. The 21-year-old is a transfer target of AC Milan to replace Davide Calabria.
Pierre Kalulu will not be the only right back to join AC Milan this summer. The Rossoneri want to make changes in that side of the defence and sell Davide Calabria after a very disappointing season.
The Italian defender is on the market for 15-20 million euros and the recent meeting at Casa Milan, between his agent and the club, is testimony that the separation is really close.
The money from Calabria’s sale will be reinvested in a new defender. The two main candidates that AC Milan have been following for a while are Dumfries and Emerson.
The Spanish media is reporting interesting news regarding the future of Emerson Royal, the Barcelona fullback who is currently on loan at Real Betis. Until a few days ago it was believed that the player was destined to stay another year at Real Betis, as per agreements made, but the situation has changed.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for the player. The Blaugrana are desperate to gather funds for their summer transfer targets and at the same time avoid trouble with the financial fair play. Emerson has made a great first season in Spain scoring 3 goals and assisting 5 in 29 La Liga appearances.
