AC Milan have just completed the signing of Soualiho Meite from Torino while Leo Duarte has left to join Istanbul Basaksehir. Maldini and Massara are in negotiations to bring in new players but the duo may be facing an unexpected problem.
Mundo Deportivo and La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Barcelona want to sign AC Milan defender Diogo Dalot. The Portuguese right back is on loan in Italy until the end of the season.
According to reports from Mundo Deportivo Barcelona have contacted Manchester United to discuss the future of Dalot. Barcelona are ready to offer 12.5 million to purchase Dalot and cut short his loan in Italy.
Blaugrana coach Ronald Koeman is not pleased with his full-backs and has asked for reinforcements. Even if Barcelona find an agreement with Manchester United they still have to convince Milan to let go the Portuguese right-back.
The 21-year-old is on dry loan and the Rossoneri don’t have an option to make his transfer permanent. Nevertheless, Maldini will try to reach a deal with the English giants if Dalot performs well until the end of the season. The former Porto has made 14 appearances so far playing on both sides of the defence.
