Carlos Bacca is happy to be back in Spain after the two seasons in the Rossoneri shirt. His move to Villarreal is not a transfer on a permanent basis, but on loan with a right to buy. 8 goals in 22 appearances so far for the Colombian, who wants to convince the Yellow submarine to sign him (15.5 million euros will be needed).
The 31 year old center-forward owned by Milan does not miss Milanello’s environment at all. These are his recent declarations to Marca, on the question if it was a step backwards to leave Italy: “No, I did not go to the Milan that we knew for its history. But you can’t live with history, this is shown by Real Madrid this year. Milan have many years without being the best, I went there for the club’s history, but we met with many surprises”.
The newspaper also ask Bacca about what is happening in the Rossonero club: “They are looking for a solution, but I have not seen it in two years. They said it was a coach problem and they changed it; that it was a problem of players and they took some of a higher level; and they have changed managers too. I believe that everything happens because there are cycles in football. Juventus and Napoli have grown a lot in recent years, Milan have lived too much of their history”.
The former Sevilla criticizes Milan, therefore. Surely his words, considering that he is still under contract, were avoidable. But it is well known that the player holds a grudge towards the club, that already in the summer of 2016 tried to sell him and that in 2017 insisted on getting rid of him.
