With the arrival of Gonzalo Higuan at AC Milan things are expected to change up front. The first change regards the jersey numbers swap with Andre Silva.

AC Milan spent big on acquiring the services of Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus. The Argentine centre forward joins the Rossoneri on loan for 18 million euros with an option to buy at the end of the season for an additional 36 bringing the total cost of the 30 year old striker to 54 million euros.

No doubt that Higuain will be at the center of AC Milan’s new project but what will happen to Andre Silva? The Portuguese will stay despite having just changed his jersey number. The Argentine asked to have his old number 9 even at Milan and Silva decided to grant his wish. For the new season Andre Silva will play with the 69 number jersey.

The Rossoneri spent big even to sign Silva one year ago but the young striker failed to justify the investment made. Mirabelli and Fassone purchased him for 38 million euros last summer but in his first season in Italy Silva scored only 2 goals. Hopefully, even with the help of Higuain, Andre Silva will be able to show his true values this year.
