Ancelotti to ruin AC Milan transfer plans
New Everton coach Carlo Ancelotti will face against AC Milan on the transfer market for the same target.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – A few days ago Napoli announced the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti and his replacement with another former Milan coach, Gennaro Gattuso. Nevertheless, it took Ancelotti just a few days to land his next job.
The former AC Milan coach decided to return in England but this time to try a new adventure at the helm of Everton. He replaced Marco Silva and his initial impact has been very positive with Carlo collecting two wins in his first two matches, against Burnley and Newcastle.
With the January transfer window opening in a few days Ancelotti is also thinking how to reinforce his Everton side. Carlo will face his former club AC Milan as both are very interested in the same player, Jean-Clair Todibo of Barcelona.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Monaco and Everton are trying to ruin AC Milan’s transfer plans and snatch the 19-year-old centre back from the Rossoneri. AC Milan have already agreed personal terms with Todibo but have yet to find a deal with Barcelona.
Barcelona rate Jean-Clair Todibo at around 20-25 million euros but would like to have a buy-back clause. Something that AC Milan have no intention of accepting. The Rossoneri want to sign a new defender following the inconsistency of Mateo Musacchio and the injury of Mattia Caldara.
