Ancelotti and Aubameyang talk about AC Milan after El Clasico
Carlo Ancelotti and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang commented on AC Milan’s recent success after the El Clasico.
Many players and coaches that have passed through Milanello have never forgotten the time they spent at AC Milan. This club means truly something special for many legends but also for those who have been here for just a short time.
Yesterday El Clasico took center stage in Spain with Barcelona destroying Barcelona at Santiago Bernabeu. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the most decisive player on the pitch scoring two goals and assisting another. A disappointing result for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The two were interviewed at the end of the match and also talked about their former club.
Carlo Ancelotti was the first to express his joy about the recent results of his former club. “I’m delighted to see AC Milan up there in the standings, it’s normal. I’m a Milan fan”.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is of the same opinion: “I’m sure Milan will go back to where they deserve to be. They are doing very well and I am following them a bit. They are first and I hope they stay there!“.
While Carlo Ancelotti had the privilege to win every possible trophy as player and coach of AC Milan, Aubameyang was less lucky. The Gabon centre forward left the Rossoneri without ever making an official appearance. After various loan spells he was sold to Saint-Etienne where he started to leave his mark.
