The agents of Brazilian star Everton Soares will be in Italy next weeks to met with AC Milan reports Tuttosport.
The Brazilian league comes to an end and Everton Soares is one of the local stars ready to land in Europe. After a great Copa America with the national team of Brazil and good performances with Gremio de Porto Alegre, the time seems to have come to move to Europe.
The 23-year-old left winger is a target of several European clubs. Premier League teams are keeping tabs on him while in Italy the Brazilian remains in AC Milan’s orbit. Recently, the Rossoneri scouts were in Brazil to watch the player. However, AC Milan hesitate to make a move for Everton because of the high cost of the operation.
Tuttosport reports that next week Everton’s agents will be in Italy after a stop in England. Meetings are scheduled with Everton and Liverpool. The intermediary that is dealing with everything is the well-known agent Kia Joorabchian. Any club seriously interested in Everton must pay at least 40 million euros.
Gremio intend to collect as much money as possible from the sale of their gem. According to the Italian newspaper a meeting could take place with AC Milan despite a transfer looking unlikely at this moment. Only in case of an important sale can AC Milan allow themselves to invest a fee of €40 million for Everton Soares.
On parer, the Brazilian international would be perfect for Stefano Pioli’s 4-3-3. The Italian coach could certainly use a fast and goal scoring left winger instead of the inconsistent Hakan Calhanoglu. Former sporting director Leonardo was very close to signing Soares last season with a rumored agreement falling apart after Ivan Gazidis’ veto. Milan’s budgetary problems did not allow for substantial spending.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the economic rights on the Cebolinha’s price tag are divided between several subjects. Gremio currently own 50% of Everton’s card, agent Gilmar Veloz 30%, Fortaleza 10% and a private investor another 10%. For any club it will be difficult to reach separate agreements with all these subjects.
