The Board of Directors meeting was held today at Casa Milan but at the same time work on the transfer market continued as usual. Unexpectedly, the club managers welcomed Giuseppe Riso to discuss some transfer possibilities, the Italian agent with whom the Rossoneri has an excellent relationship.
According to Calciomercato.it, the well-known agent updated the Rossoneri on the situation of some of his clients. A topic of discussion was the highly rated youngster of Atalanta Filippo Melegoni. The promising midfielder has been linked with a move to AC Milan in recent months. Riso is also the agent of Daniele Baselli, another target of AC Milan to strengthen the midfield.
Another player of interest is Jakub Jankto. Sports director Mirabelli wanted to sign the talented central midfielder in January but Udinese refused, insisting that the parties could discuss a move only this summer. However Jankto’s price tag of 30 million euros makes negotiations difficult and several English clubs are more favorites for his services.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the parties also discussed the contract renewal of Lorenzo Colombo, 16 year old striker of Milan U-17. It’s expected to be just a formality because Colombo has expressed his desire to continue with the Rossoneri. Giuseppe Riso also met with Mario Beretta that will replace Filippo Galli as head of the youth sector.
