After Krunic, Giampaolo wants second Milan player

Rade Krunic is not the only AC Milan player coach Marco Giampaolo want to sign for his new club Torino.

The adventure of Marco Giampaolo was the shortest spell of a permanent coach in the history of the club. The Italian was sacked after just seven matches and recently he was appointed the new coach of Torino.

Great news for the Rossoneri who don’t have to pay his salary for another year thus saving around 3 million euros. However, Marco Giampaolo hasn’t detached himself from Milan and wants to bring some of his former players at Torino.

The first name in Giampaolo’s list of targets is Rade Krunic. The Croatian midfielder has featured little in his first season at San Siro but that’s mostly because of a fracture. Milan spent 8 million to purchase Krunic from Empoli and would hardly be tempted to sell unless an offer of at least 10 million arrives.

Now Giampaolo has set his sight on Ricardo Rodriguez. The Swissh left back lost his starting spot after the arrival of Theo Hernandez. The Rossoneri have been trying to sell him ever since but without success. According to MilanNews.it, Ricardo Rodriguez is close to completed a move to Torino.

Tomorrow there’s a meeting at Casa Milan between the two clubs. AC Milan want 5 million to sell Rodriguez but it seems like a deal can be reached even for less. With his contract expiring in one year the Rossoneri need to sell Rodriguez this summer or risk losing him for free next year.
