AC Milan vs Spal

AC Milan host the newly promoted Spal, in San Siro, in a match valid for the 5th round of Serie A. Vincenzo Montella seems intention to make some changes from the last outing.

On Wednesday evening, Vincenzo Montella’s team returns on the field for the midweek round of Serie A. Newly promoted Spal will be the rossoneri’s opponent at San Siro in the 5th day of Serie A.

AC Milan for this occasion will again deploy the 3-5-2 formation, which seems to be the definitive module from now on. Compared to the match against Udinese, the manager seems intentioned change some of the players in the starting formation. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, in fact, Hakan Calhanoglu should replace Giacomo Bonaventura in midfield and Andre Silva will also play accompanied by man of the match against Udinese, Nikola Kalinic.

AC Milan’s defense of three will be composed of Bonucci, Romagnoli and Zapata (who replaces Musacchio) in front of Gigio Donnarumma. On the flanks will start Abate instead of Davide Calabria and Ricardo Rodriguez to the left, in the middle with Calhanoglu there will be Lucas Biglia in the lead and Franck Kessie. In attack, Suso, not fully convincing in Milan vs Udinese, will start from the bench but the manager might even opt for a different solution in the last minute. In yesterday’s press conference manager Montella assured that Andre Silva will start from the first minute. Nikola Kalinic is expected to be rewarded with another first minute start after deciding the match against Udinese.

AC Milan (3-5-2) – Donnarumma; Zapata, Bonucci, Romagnoli; Abate, Kessie, Biglia, Calhanoglu, Rodriguez; Kalinic (Suso) Andre Silva.

Spal (3-5-2) – Gomis; Salamon, Vicari, Felipe; Lazzari, Schiattarella, Viviani, Grassi, Mattiello; Borriello, Antenucci.
