Sefano Pioli is set to make little changes for the upcoming Champions League match AC Milan vs Dinamo Zagreb.
It’s already time for the second round of the Champions League group stage. AC Milan host Dinamo Zagreb at San Siro, on Wednesday, at 18:45 CET. After the somehow unexpected draw against Red Bull Salzburg, Stefano Pioli’s squad desperately needs the three points in AC Milan vs Dinamo Zagreb.
The Croatian side are not to be underestimated as demonstrated by their victory over Chelsea. Pioli will make little change to his starting eleven. Pierre Kalulu returns to play alongside Fikayo Tomori in defence. Theo Hernandez will play on the left while captain Calabria battles with Sergino Dest for a spot on the right. Mike Maignan on goal.
The midfield duo are untouchable. Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer have formed a great understanding this season. Both will have to carry a lot of weight in Milan vs Dinamo Zagreb.
Rafael Leao is suspended for the upcoming Serie A match versus Napoli so he will certainly play from the first minute against Dinamo Zagreb. Alexis Saelemaekers is set to replace Junior Messias on the right wing with Charles De Ketelaere in support of Olivier Giroud. The Frenchman will probably be the only striker available to Pioli with Origi, Ibrahimovic and Rebic all injured.
AC MILAN Probable XI (4-2-3-1) – Maignan; Calabria (Dest), Kalulu, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Tonali, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, De Ketelaere, Leao; Giroud.
DINAMO ZAGREB Probable XI (3-5-2) – Livakovic; Moharrami, Sutalo, Peric; Ristovski, Ademi, Misic, Ivanusec, Ljubicic; Petkovic, Orsic.
