AC Milan trying to sell new signing
The recent change of ownership was followed also by a big change in the management of the club with Leonardo and Maldini having a different vision on Milan in comparison to Mirabelli.
One of the first purchases of the old ownership this summer under the supervision of former sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli was Alen Halilovic. The Croatian midfielder was signed on a free transfer from Hamburg.
While the transfer window is closed in Italy, in Spain there is still time to buy players. According to Mundo Deportivo, Halilovic has been offered to Girona and Espanyol by the Rossoneri. The Spanish coach of Girona, Eusebio Sacristán, is a fan of Halilovic and the two have worked well together while at Barcelona B.
Alen Halilovic is a player of great prospect but has failed to reach his potential. The former Barcelona player seems closed at Milan after the arrival of Bakayoko from Chelsea. An interesting market development, with AC Milan willing to lose one of its midfielders, considered non-functional and not useful for the new project.
