AC Milan have prioritized the signing of Federico Chiesa and are willing to sell three players in order to purchase the Fiorentina star.
The Rossoneri have entered the auction where teams like Juventus, Inter, Napoli and Roma have booked places in advance. In order for Milan to sign Chiesa, qualification to Champions League is a must. Only in this way, in fact, the American ownership could seriously study a plan to create a perfect puzzle between technical counterparts, cash and UEFA limits.
Fiorentina value their star at € 80-100 million, a fee that could make Federico Chiesa the most expensive signing in the history of AC Milan. However, some sacrifices could be required to bring the 21 year old Italian at San Siro. The exiled Andre Silva, the rocky Frank Kessie and assist-man Suso are expected to be the three departures that help AC Milan collect over 100 million euros.
Sevilla will likely not exercise their right to buy Andre Silva so the Portuguese striker almost certainly will return to the base at the end of the season. Unlike what some rumors say, the newspaper assures, Andre Silva will not remain in the Rossoneri. The precious collaboration of Jorge Mendes will be required so Milan receive the same figure (€ 39 million) Sevilla was supposed to pay.
For Kessie and Suso, on the other hand, the valuation is 40 million euros and both, after all, are not considered fundamental anymore. The Ivorian midfielder, for example, has several fans in England and with the permanence of Tiemoue Bakayoko and the return of Lucas Biglia and Giacomo Bonaventura he could be allowed to leave this summer.
AC Milan target Federico Chiesa
The situation of the Spanish winger is a bit more complex. Suso has a release clause of 40 million for foreign clubs and so far he hasn’t reached an agreement to renew his contract with Milan. If the Rossoneri secure the services of the Fiorentina star then the management won’t hesitate to sacrifice Suso. Milan could also offer Andre Silva to Fiorentina in exchange for Chiesa plus cash. Cutrone cold also be included in the negotiations. So far this season the 21 year Italy international has scored 11 goals and has provided 8 assists in 29 appearances.
