The mercato of the Rossoneri is entering a crucial phase with AC Milan set to announce three new transfers.
Without a doubt, AC Milan are the most active Italian club on the transfer market. The Rossoneri so far have spent around 60 million euros and it’s only the beginning. Fikayo Tomori, Mike Maignan and Sandro Tonali have joined while three new signings will be announced shortly.
The first is Olivier Giroud. The French striker arrived on Italy today and had his medicals at the La Madonnina clinic. The former Chelsea star will cost two million euros, add-ons included. Giroud has put pen to paper on a two-year contract at 4 million euros per season with a renewal option for a third year.
After a long delay, AC Milan have completed the signing of Brahim Diaz. The initial payment terms have changed a bit. Diaz will join AC Milan on a two-year loan (3 million) with a buy option set at 22 million. Real Madrid will have a buy-back clause of €27 million that will probably be valid only for one year.
In the meantime, Paolo Maldini has also closed the arrival of a new left-back. Fode Ballo-Toure will join from Monaco for a transfer fee of 4 million euros plus half a million in add-ons. The 24-year-old French defender will be Theo Hernandez’s back-up.
Besides the signing of Olivier Giroud, Maldini and Massara are working to bring in a young striker. The Rossoneri have agreed personal terms with Kaio Jorge. The Brazilian starlet is a big opportunity for the Rossoneri because his contract with Santos runs down in six months. Talks ongoing between the two clubs.
