Two Argentine midfielders are part of AC Milan’s extensive list of summer transfer targets.
AC Milan have already started working for next season. Although the team has improved its performance in the last two months, the board wants to give new impulses to a squad that, despite the constant changes it has undergone in these years, is still too far from being competitive at the highest levels.
The recent chaos that has seized the Rossoneri will not impact the club’s plans regarding the summer market. Several transfer targets have been identified and AC Milan will try to sign no matter who becomes the new coach.
Among the many names that have been linked Milan are Argentine midfielders Rodrigo de Paul and Matias Zaracho. Both share the same agent, Agustin Jimenez, increasing AC Milan’s chances of a double purchase reports Fichajes.
Since joining Udinese from Valencia in 2016, De Paul has established himself as one of the best players in Serie A. The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has hinted that he wants to change club at the end of the season. “At Udinese I am fine, I feel at home. Over the months in December and January there was something, but I preferred to stay here and complete this cycle instead of leaving in mid-season. Now I just think about my team and the Argentine national team. In June we will see“. Udinese rate De Paul at around €25-30 million.
Matias Zaracho is a bit cheaper with Racing de Avellaneda open to accept €20 million for their talent. In January AC Milan made a unsuccessful 15 million bid for Zaracho and are ready to try again when the summer transfer window opens.
