AC Milan win 3-0 the opening Serie A match against Crotone. The rossoneri win thanks to goals by Kessie, Cutrone and Suso, at the same time setting a new record.
Another important win for manager Vincenzo Montella and the whole technical staff. The rossoneri managed to grab a 3-0 win against an opponent that caused much trouble last season. At the end of Crotone vs AC Milan, the ball possession is impressive, so as to establish a new record in the history of the red and black club. Against Crotone, the Devil managed to reach 80.1% possession of the ball, breaking the previous Serie A record set in the 2004/05 season.
AC Milan continue the excellent results. After three consecutive wins in Europa League the rossoneri grab another win in the opening match of the new Serie A season. The red and black defenders have yet to concede a goal. Milan pass immediately in advantage with a penalty transformed in goal by Franck Kessie, the penalty was decided by the new VAR system. Youngster Patrick Cutrone doubles the result with a beautiful header while a few minutes later Suso makes it 3-0. A result that was conditioned by the early red car of Ceccherini but anyway a good performance from AC Milan.
