AC Milan have completed the sale of Jens Petter Hauge to Eintracht Frankfurt. The Norwegian leaves after only one year with the Rossoneri.
After just one season in Italy, Jens Petter Hauge is leaving to play in the Bundesliga for the new season. AC Milan have completed the sale of the Norwegian left winger to German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
Hauge arrived for €4.2 million from Bodo Glimt and will join Eintracht Frankfurt initially on loan with the obligation to make the transfer permanent for 12 million at the end of the season. The Rossoneri will not have a buy-back option.
Tomorrow, the 21-year-old left winger will land in Germany to undergo medical exams. At Eintracht Frankfurt he will have the chance to play much more that at Milan. Frankfurt is the same club that offered Andre Silva the chance to revitalize his career after a difficult spell at San Siro.
Jens Petter Hauge impressed during a Europa League match between AC Milan and Bodo Glimt. In his only year at the San Siro Hauge made 24 appearances scoring 5 goals and providing one assist.
Despite some very good moments, the Norwegian didn’t have the backing of coach Stefano Pioli. He was excluded from the Europa League squad list in the second half of the season and saw his play time reduced drastically.
