AC Milan send scouts in Spain U21 vs Germany U21 to watch several targets. The Rossoneri are especially interested in five Spain players and two German ones.
Last week Spain U21 and Germany U21 faced each other in a friendly match. A great showdown between two of the most talented national teams. A match of great importance also for AC Milan and Juventus who had sent scouts to monitor several interesting young players reports Tuttomercatoweb.com.
AC Milan’s top transfer target remains Dani Olmo of Dinamo Zagreb, a long-time favorite of the Rossoneri club. The other names scouted by Milan are Ferran Torres, Fran Beltran, Jorge Cuenca and Marc Cucurella from the Spanish side and Johannes Eggestein and Niklas Dorsch from the German camp.
Dani Olmo: Olmo is the captain of the Furia Roja. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder can also play on both wings and is the biggest star of the Spanish U21 national team. He led Spain to European triumph this summer while this season he has scored 5 goals and provided 5 assists in 11 appearances so far. Last month Olmo criticized Dinamo Zagreb for slapping a 30 million price tag on his services. With his contract expiring in 2021, Dani Olmo is already pushing for a January move.
Ferran Torres: The 19-year-old talent of Valencia has made more than 60 appearances with the Spanish club despite his young age. He plays as right winger. The contract of Ferran Torres expires in 2021 and the player has a release clause of 25 million euros.
Fran Beltran: Last year Celta Vigo made a great investment paying €8 million to sign Beltran from Rayo Vallecano. The 20-year-old central midfielder is perhaps the most promising Spanish prospect in that department. His price tag is over 20 million but with a contract until 2023 any club interested in him must pay a considerable fee to lure Beltran away from Celta Vigo.
Jorge Cuenca: Yet another talent from the ranks of Barcelona B. The 19-year-old centre back has made over 50 appearances for the Barcelona B side in Segunda Division. His contract expires in 2021.
Marc Cucurella: Another old target of AC Milan. Cucurella established himself as one of the most promising full-backs in Spain last season while on loan at Eibar. He was one of the options AC Milan considered for the left-back position this summer before ultimately settling for Theo Hernandez. This year Barcelona have loaned their left-back at Getafe.
Johannes Eggestein: The 21-year-old German forward plays in Bundesliga with Werder Bremen. He has made five league appearances this season and has scored a goal. The captain of the German U21 side is usually deployed as right winger.
Niklas Dorsch: After failing to become part of Bayern Munich’s first-team he moved on a free transfer last season to Heidenheim. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder made 30 apeparances in Bundesliga 2 last year. This season he has scored once and has provided 3 assists in 9 appearances.
