AC Milan have chosen Charles De Ketelaere to be their new attacking midfielder next season. The Belgium international has impressed Paolo Maldini a lot and the AC Milan technical director will do all he can to bring the Club Brugge star at San Siro this summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan are ready to break the bank for De Ketelaere offering a total fee of 40 million euros. Brugge are open to sell their most prized asset this summer but are insisting on their €40 million evaluation of the player. AC Milan hope that 30 million plus 10 in add-ons will be enough to convince the Belgian club.
De Ketelaere has already said yes to AC Milan reports Gazzetta rejecting the interest of Leicester City. AC Milan are offering the 21-year-old a central role in the squad with coach Stefano Pioli ready to make him the Rossoneri’s new number 10. The player would have the chance to express himself in the Champions League with a view of locking down a spot in Belgium’s squad in the upcoming World Cup.
