AC Milan are about to shift their attention on the transfers and the club aims to solve quickly the future of captain Leo Bonucci.
Now that AC Milan’s Europa League participation for next year has been confirmed the club will focus on the transfer market. One the biggest issues that the Rossoneri must solve quickly is the future of Leonardo Bonucci. The 31 year old centre back is a top target of PSG and according to Tuttosport, his agent Alessandro Lucci is in fact in continuous contacts with the Parisian management and an official offer is being prepared for the Rossoneri.
But what are the economic demands of AC Milan? The player arrived a year ago at Milanello from Juventus for 40 million euros, but for the Rossoneri 35 million euros (as recently reported) would not be enough to take him away from San Siro. The Red and Blacks will not accept a capital loss and want at least 50 million euros for his services.
This figure does not frighten PSG, which will have no problems guaranteeing Bonucci a salary of 10 million euros net per season, however the French side are under the strict control of UEFA and therefore, before closing a deal, will have to sell some players first.
After today’s 2-0 win against Novara coach Gattuso too confirmed that the player is considering his options: “I spoke with Leo. We want to keep him at all costs. Bonucci is a professional but we also need to listen to what he says. We wait and see, we will respect the choice of the player“.
