AC Milan put summer signing on the transfer list

Leao, Rebic, Theo

AC Milan seem to be losing patience with Rafael Leao and have placed him on the transfer list, a reports from Spain claims.

The time of Rafael Leao at Milan could be coming to an end. The 21-year-old striker has failed to establish himself in Pioli’s starting eleven and, even in the absence of Ibrahimovic, the Portuguese has failed to exploit his chances.

According to reports from Spain, Rafael Leao’s permanence at AC Milan for next season is in serious doubt. The Rossoneri are apparently ready to sell Leao in case of a good offer from other clubs.

AC Milan spent 23 million euros to sign Rafael Leao from Lille last summer but the young striker has scored just 3 goals in 24 appearances so far.

Todofichajes.com writes that Leao has ended up on the transfer list. The Portuguese is apparently out of the technical plan of Ralf Rangnick, future coach of AC Milan.

Nevertheless, Milan would like to avoid such a possibility. Unless an offer that would allow the Rossoneri to recoup their investment arrives, it’s likely that Milan let the former Lille leaves on loan for one season similar to what happened with Andre Silva. Unless something changes until the end of the season, Leao appears increasingly distant from Milan. Yet another flop for the attack of the Rossoneri.
