Young players are at the center of AC Milan’s plans for the future. Coach Gattuso and Mirabelli have decided to promote two Primavera stars to first team.
Since he took over as AC Milan sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli has paid close attention to the development of the youth sector. When Gennaro Gattuso was coach of AC Milan Primavera Mirabelli signed a big number of young (18 years old at most) and talented starlets that have potential to become future first team players and possily stars.
Now, Mirablli’s policies have started to pay off. The club has decided to promote Raoul Bellanova (right back) and Emanuele Torrasi (central midfielder) to first team starting from 9 July. The two have already had the opportunity to train under the orders of Rino Gattuso this season and will be hoping to be useful for Rino next year.
In recent seasons, the Rossoneri have started to rely more and more on internal products like Gigio Donnarumma, Davide Calabria, Manuel Locatelli and Patrick Cutrone and wants to continue this short tradition. The club is also considering the future of Primavera star Tiago Dias. The Portuguese right winger excelled in his first season in Italy. The Red and Blacks will promote him to first team only if they can guarantee play time to the player otherwise he will be loaned somewhere else to gain first team experience.
