AC Milan plotting crazy move for Man City star

Davide Silva Manchester City

In a bleak period for international football, many clubs are focused on the transfer market and are planning their moves the the upcoming shopping campaign. AC Milan are already active and the management is currently evaluating a potential free transfer. An unexpected signing to inject technical quality and experience in the team.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri have set their sights on David Silva. The Spanish playmaker of Manchester City is the latest idea of AC Milan management for next season.

David Silva is a footballer who needs no introduction. The 34-year-old, world champion with Spain in 2010, is winner of many trophies with Manchester City in England.

Silva’s contract with the Premier League club will expire in July and his will is to leave England after 10 years. The Spaniard wants to end his glorious career elsewhere.

Silva has received rich offers from clubs in Qatar and China but the midfielder would prefer to stay in Europe. Something that may favor the Rossoneri.

AC Milan will try to convince David Silva to end his career in Serie A, a championship that has always fascinated him. A great signing, even at 34, that would make the fans happy and give the midfield some much needed quality.

It is possible that the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the squad could be decisive to convince Silva. The Spanish midfielder is not a signing within the parameters imposed by Ivan Gazidis but exceptions are not excluded.

Gazidis wants a young and low-cost Milan squad without Pharaonic engagements. David Silva represents the opposite: a champion at the end of his career and with the salary of a top player.
